20 weeks

We are having a...

Yesterday we found out what the genders were of the babies. All week long, Chris and I were guessing on what they were. He was convinced that it was two boys (or maybe it was wishful thinking) and I was predicting that there was a boy baby on my right and a girl baby on my left. For the past few weeks, I had been feeling a lot of little flutters or movement from both babies, but recently I have been feeling some very strong kicks right under my right rib cage and thought that had to be a boy.

We went into our appointment very excited and anxious to find out. As soon as our sonographer placed the Ultrasound on my stomach she told us we had some very active and busy babies on our hands. They were moving all over the place and it was very hard for her to get pictures and take measurements, but they did cooperate enough for her to get a shot of the important parts...Everything looked good on both babies, closed spinal cord, two kidneys, no cleft palate, 4 chamber heart, 2 legs and 2 arms on each baby...and Chris and I are very happy to announce that we are having a BOY and a GIRL!

Baby A on the right side is a Boy and Baby B on the left is a Girl!!! (I guess my prediction was right!)

Today I am 19 1/2 weeks, half way there!!! Still hoping for some August babies!!

Is Spring Here Yet?

Sorry for the long delay in postings...we have been having technical difficulties with computers. What have we been up to for the past 2 weeks...

On March 26th, Chris and I went to HUGE Mother's of Multiples Sale in Eagan. The experience was overwhelming. Just picture Black Friday Shopping...but for pregnant women. It was all worth it in the end. We were able to get some very nice things for not a lot of cost. Here is a picture of our purchases...

Other than that, we are just trying to get the babies room cleaned out and ready for them.

18 weeks

Both babies continue to do well. Heartbeats continue to be in the 150-160 ranges. In another 2 weeks we will be able to find out their gender!
