A Slight Scare

Today we had another ultrasound and doctor's appointment. Last week at our appointment, my cervix was looking a little short and the doctor wanted to take another look at it this week, just to make sure that it wasn't getting any shorter.

Well the good news is that my cervix is still looking to be at a normal range! What that means is no bed rest...yet. We did score some more pictures though! It looks like the babies are already starting to play (or fight) with each other. Baby Girl is sitting right on Baby Boy's head :)

Baby Boy was more cooperative this week. He looked right into the camera this week!

Another doctor's appointment and ultrasound in another 3 weeks.

24 week ultrasound pictures

On Thursday we had another ultrasound to check the grow of the babies. Both babies continue to do very well. Baby Boy is measuring around 1 pound, 13 ounces and Baby Girl is measuring around 1 pound, 14 ounces. Both have very good heartbeats and are both head down. Hopefully they continue to stay that way.

Baby Boy didn't want to cooperate to get his picture taken and kept his back to us the whole time. This is the back of his head and arm...check out that bicep!

That's it for now. Back next week for the glucose test. Hopefully I pass this test as well!

24 weeks in...

What have we been up to last month...

So far the pregnancy as been going well. Both babies have started kicking a ton in the past few weeks. Doctor's appointments have been going well. We have another doctor appointment and ultrasound on Thursday. I will update with new picutres when I get the chance.

24 weeks

We have also started going to some of our baby classes down at Abbott Hospital in Minneapolis. Hopefully we won't have to deliver there, but its our backup hospital if I deliver before 34 weeks. Our first choice will be to have the babies at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee if I can make it to past 34 weeks.

We have also started putting together the babies room. Here is what is looking like so far...

That's it for right now. We are looking forward to our next ultrasound so we can see the babies again!
