Getting Ready for Christmas!

We are busy getting ready for Christmas! All of our shopping is done (well, at least mine is) and presents are wrapped! We have seen Santa twice and went down to see the Holidazzle Parade last weekend!

No tears this year! Maybe because Santa gave them candy canes!

We are now just waiting for Christmas to come!!

Newborn pictures

Reagan had newborn pictures taken when she was 1 week old. They are all so cute, but here are a few.  Also, Reagan had her 2 week doctor appointment on November 6. She weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces! Looks like we have a good eater on our hands! Now if only she would figure out how to sleep more than 3 hour stretches at night...

It's a.....

On October 25, Chris and I welcomed our new baby. We had a weekly doctor appointment that morning. Well, the doctor told us that I was already 6 cm dilated and told us to go upstairs to the Birth Place to have a baby! We were able to go home first, since we live so close, grabbed our bags, brought Chase and Ari to my mom's, and went to the hospital.

We got all checked in and the doctor came in to break my water. That was around 10 am. The nurses then told me to walk around to speed things up a bit, so Chris and I started walking the halls. At around 11, the contractions started getting really bad, so we headed back to our room to get an epidural. Well, I guess I was too far along already, so they decided to do a spinal block instead. It was wonderful! I didn't feel a thing! I started pushing around 12:30 and at 12:48, Chris announced that we had a GIRL!!!

Reagan Ann weighed in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19.75 inches long!

We have been been home now for over a week and everyone is adjusting well. Reagan is a good eater and sleeper and is a very happy baby.

Waiting...

We are patiently waiting for the arrival of our new little baby any time now...

After a few scarey moments, followed by a week of bed rest and weekly shots to prevent preterm labor, this baby has decided to wait to be born full term. As of this weekend, I am now 37 weeks, 80% effaced, and dilated to 3-4 cm, so any day now!

2 year pictures

 Lots of pictures of Chase and Ari. They were such troopers to having pictures taken that day, considering that it was 90 degrees and super humid that day! We got so many good ones it was hard picking out our favorites, but here are a few.

Here are their stats from their 2 year doctor appointment back in August:

Chase:
Height: 35.3 inches, 72%
Weight: 27 pounds, 36%
Head: 20 inches, 93%

Ari:
Height: 34.7 inches, 71%
Weight: 25.8 pounds, 37%
Head: 18.8 inches, 56%

They just keep growing and keep us busy! They love playing outside and going to the park. There have been many occasions of tears when it's time to come inside. They love reading books and playing with their new toys from their birthday. But my new favorite thing is that they can now climb into my car, get into their car seats and will start to put on their car seat straps all by themselves!
