11 months old! How has the time gone by so fast?!?!
*Chase and Ari have been keeping us very busy here. They are both into EVERYTHING!!! They have both figured out how to crawl up the stairs, so now we have to make sure the baby gates are always closed! At daycare, Chase has even figured out how to open the gate to crawl up the stairs! There have been times that my mom will go upstairs to make lunch and turn around and there is Chase and Ari! They both pull up on everything and try so hard to grab anything they can including cell phones, remotes, water glasses, you name it. They are so darn curious about everything. The cats are so longer safe to lay on the couches in the living room so they have taken to sleeping/hanging out in whatever room the babies are not in.
*Chase are Ari have both decided to get MORE teeth!! Chase finally got tooth number 8. He now has an even set of 4 on top and 4 on the bottom. And just today, I put my finger in Ari's mouth and felt her first molar coming in on the top!! No wonder she was crabby the last few days!
*Chase and Ari are getting SO CLOSE to walking! They will stand up from the floor by themselves and just stand there! I keep trying to get them to take a few steps, but the most Chase has taken is 2 steps on his own before sitting down to crawl. Ari will sometimes take one step.
*Chase and Ari are getting more social! They will wave bye-bye, do "So big", clap, and LOVE playing peek-a-boo. They both talk and babble all day long and are discovering different sounds! They love to blow raspberries, especially when they are eating and spray food all over us! They smile and laugh at each other, which is so darn cute to watch! I keep trying to get it on video, but of course they stop as soon as I get the camera out.
*We are starting to eat more table foods! This past month, Ari has started refusing baby foods, but will eat most table foods, especially if we give it to her off of our silverware. They have eaten bread, real cereal, crackers, cheese, noodles, peas, green beans, watermelon, blueberries, and meat. I'm sure there is more too.
That's it for now!
